Murphy and Andrews
Connected by the Valley River, these two towns sit in the Southwest corner of North Carolina and offer outdoor adventures, wineries and charming mountain culture. Located at the confluence of the Hiawassee and Valley rivers, Murphy features plenty of water sports, fishing and boating activities and annual festivals. Up the road is Andrews, a rising small town and home to Hawkesdene; a luxury estate for weddings, reunions and retreats. Stop in the newly opened brewery, Hoppy Trout, for a delicious house-brewed beer and some brick-oven pizza.
