Come have fun playing with color. We will use permanent textile dyes to add beautiful color & patterning to fabric using easy low water immersion techniques. Learn how to dye a range of colors. Any natural fiber can be dyed with this type of dye (cotton, linen, rayon, bamboo as well as silk) with colorfast results.
There are no mistakes, only ‘happy accidents’. The instructor will provide the dyes & auxiliary chemicals needed and a list of resources to help you on your way to further experimentation. A list of materials for students to bring to class will be provided with paid registration.
