Southern Smokies Art Expo

Date: Saturday, January 16, 2027
Time: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: The Jarrett House, 518 Haywood Rd., Dillsboro, NC 28725

Celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship, and mountain heritage of the Southern Smokies at the inaugural Southern Smokies Art Expo!

Meet talented regional artists, explore original works inspired by the mountains, and shop the Makers Market, featuring locally crafted art and handmade goods.

For just $5 per raffle ticket, visitors can enter for a chance to win original artwork donated by participating artists and makers. Each piece offers a unique opportunity to take home a little of the Southern Smokies!

Visitors can also cast their votes in the 2027 Signature Artist of the Southern Smokies Competition, helping select an artist whose work will be featured and promoted by Visit Smokies throughout the year.

The event also features special giveaways celebrating the region’s art, heritage, and attractions.

Every raffle ticket supports a bigger purpose! Proceeds benefit Visit Smokies’ efforts to expand regional tourism promotion and support the communities, small businesses, and creative traditions that make these mountains special.

Presented by Visit Smokies. Hosted and sponsored by The Jarrett House. Proudly supported by Blue Ridge National Heritage Area and the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
