About the Event:
Named after the Cherokee word Sakonige (pronounced Sha-co-na-gay), meaning blue, this festival honors the rich cultural roots of the region known as the Land of the Blue Smoke. This will be a vibrant celebration of local heritage, music, food, and art in the heart of Cherokee.
