The John C. Campbell Folk School will host its annual online auction March 2-13, 2026, inviting supporters near and far to bid on a wide range of handcrafted works while supporting the Folk School’s educational programs
The auction will feature more than 70 items, including works by the Folk School’s Centennial Artists, a special group of makers first introduced during the Forge After Dark and in-person auction events held as part of the school’s yearlong 100th anniversary celebration. Items span a variety of media and traditions, reflecting the depth of creativity and craftsmanship fostered at the Folk School for a century.
This year’s auction will be hosted on Givebutter, a new fundraising platform for the Folk School that offers a streamlined, user-friendly bidding experience. Givebutter allows participants to easily browse items, place bids, receive updates and support the Folk School from any device.
Proceeds from the online auction will support the Folk School’s educational programming,
