Kid-Friendly Fly-Tying Craft

Join our awesome intern for a kid-friendly fly-tying craft! Using safe, colorful materials — no sharp hooks here — kids can design their own “flies” inspired by real aquatic insects.
Whether your child wants to dive into the science behind fly fishing or just make something cool and buggy, this hands-on activity is as fun or educational as they choose.
🪰 Important note: This is a craft version of fly-tying — no real hooks, tools, or fish involved! (We love enthusiasm, but we promise, we’re not handing out fishing gear to preschoolers.)
