General Description: Boyd Mountain Log Cabins are authentic log cabins nestled in a private beautifully landscaped 130 acre cove, overlooking large fishing ponds, the Great Smoky Mountains and a Christmas tree farm. The 7 cabins have been moved to the site, restored and completely furnished with modern conveniences. Each cabin has central heat and air conditioning, full kitchen including dishwasher, washer and dryer, fireplace, phone,wireless internet access, cable TV, DVD,VCR, deck and covered porches with rocking chairs,grill and picnic table. Enjoy spacious surroundings with 3 stocked fishing ponds,swimming hole, trout stream, , volleyball, basketball, paved jogging, walking and bicycles paths . 1, 2 3 and 4 bedroom cabins accomodate 2-10. Enjoy a Honeywoon, Family Reunion or just a getaway weekend in every season. Kids Ski Free and Stay Free on Sundays through Thursday during the Ski season at Cataloochee Ski Area in MaggieValley. Choose N Cut your own Christmas tree on our property from mid November until Christmas selecting from acres of Fraser Fir Christmas Trees. Recommended day trips include the Cataloochee Valley in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Ghost Town in the Sky amusement park, Biltmore Estate in Asheville, and the Great Smoky Mountain Railway excursions.
