General Description: Timber framing is the art of building structures of massive timbers, joined by interlocking joints held together with wooden pegs. It is an ancient and honorable art which has been in use for over two thousand years, and many sound structures, cathedrals, barns, and houses, still stand which were built hundreds of years before Columbus. For many of us the attraction of handmade items of any sort is strong, and their value is enduring. |
